get this Klic-N-Kut Element for only $400.00 and make a wish come true

clip_image002 Picture of the Klic-N-Kut next to the wishblade just to give you an idea of it's size

For Sale

Used Klic-N-Kut Element for sale only $400.00, including shipping and insurance cost to those within the continental United States.

Have you been waiting to own a Klic-N-Kit electronic machine? Well here is your chance at owning one of the best computerized cutters in the industry. The only reason why I’m selling is to get a larger cutting area so I can expand my creativity!

The KNK ELEMENT comes with two blades the red capped blade cuts thinner materials ---card stock, vellum and vinyl. The blue tip blade cuts thicker material- Bazzill, chipboard and craft foam, etc.

I just love this machine after using a Wishblade and seeing the Pazzles I will only purchase in the Klic-N-Kut family! Not to mention the customer support is outstanding.

One of the most outstanding features of this product is the ability to cut by color. After selecting the design that you would like to cut you then click “Filter by Color”, a window will pop up allowing you to select one square in the color that you want to cut. This means you can cut all red shapes at once, then simply change your paper to anther color and cut all of the pieces in that color. This saves time and saves you from misplacing a piece. It also keeps the design in tact that way you can piece your die-cuts together by following the design.

Another feature that I love so much from this machine is the fact that you can slow the cut or lower the pressure allowing you to cut intricate cuts, all with the easy to follow key pad on the machine.

With the KNK studio software that is included you can pull in clip art or merge letters creating your own titles. The software will save in several formats allowing you to expand and use other software.

What you will get:

Klic-N-Kut Element Cutter

Klic-N-Kut Studio Installation CD with a “BRAND NEW” Dongle, I just paid 82.44 for on December 1, 2008

Fonts and Clipart CD- 3900 pieces of clipart, 1100 professional fonts

License Files CD

Blade Holder

Blade Pack with 3 blades (2 Red tip, 2 blue)

Ball Pen and Ball Holder

Tool Holder

User Manual- has some coffee stains on cover and another page

Power Cord

USB Cable

Spare Fuse

As a BONUS I will give you $40.00 worth of FREE files! Just tell me which files you would like and I’ll put them on a CD to ship with the machine.

If interested contact me at carries_creations@paperthreads.com

You can pay me through Paypal with any credit card or check but checks must be cleared before shipping. This item is not returnable but let me tell you this machine has no problems in cutting and we have so many that can help you from the Paperthreads forum when you need it.

Is it really almost Christmas? 40% Off and freebie this weekend!

Hello Everyone!

It's been some time since I've blogged and I really miss it! The days just seem to be flying bye! We have had some home improvements that have kept us very busy around here. But last night we were able to get into the Christmas spirit! By decorating our house, it was so much fun as we opened each box to remember the Christmas past and to find some of the new items that we collected last year.

Although we have been busy I managed to get some new files made. After receiving numerous requests for paper piecing and after making several little figures, I see why the request is so high! I just love making these little characters! It's fun to give each one a different expression or position, that's why you will find my paper piecing unique! Not one of them is the same! Each one is carefully hand drawn, with slight changes to the shape of the face, eyes, nose and mouth. I hope you get a chance to see my newest creations they are in the slide below or just click on the link for the title and a window will open taking you to the store.

Nativity Scene Paper Piecing - Jesus is the Reason for the Season
Santa and Mrs. Clause paper piecing- Make these three paper piecings quick for use on a card, a layout or place them on one of the pages in a mini-album.
Elves paper piecing - Santa has some busy lil helpers in his workshop, they are cute and easy to cut and piece.
Toy soldier paper piecings - Before you know it this one is done! So easy to cut and piece. He would look great on any page!
Christmas Train- It's got all the bells and whistles to make your Christmas pages stand out!
Christmas Seals- And seal it off with two Christmas seals for packages, pages, cards and more.

Are you in need of a great gift idea that you can make yourself? How about a mini-album? Home for the Holidays and Santa’s Workshop are my newest editions. If you don’t have much time I would suggest making the Home for the Holiday’s album, you can quickly cut out the cover and back and piece the pieces of the house together rather quickly. Then cut out your insert pages and use anyone of the many Christmas die-cuts you already have in your collection. Now if you have an afternoon to spare you should consider making the Santa’s Workshop. The file has easy to follow illustrated instructions that will allow you to get the cover put together fast. Then fill the inserts with other Christmas die-cuts! You can see both of the albums in my slide below.
It’s a good weekend to get some deals since my files are 40% off! That brings my Christmas Mega pack with twenty-two Christmas die-cuts and titles down to $8.99, which is an awesome deal.

As a gift for you I’m giving away, this weekend only my Happy New Year pack! You can get this from the store by entering the code CS_1208_13469 when checking out. Hurry since their is a limit on the amount being offered. You must get it by midnight December 14th.

Merry Christmas!

Carrie

Once again I'm having a sale with 40 % off all my files!
I know many of you have been patiently waiting for me to come out with new files...I'm back to creating and so excited about these files!

But I've run into a problem, some litte wee one around here kicked my dongle and it is being sent in for repairs. Basically, I'm stuck! I can't convert nor cut any files till the dongle arrives...with that being said I'm looking for some cutters who might want to help me in the mean time.

Do you have some spare time to cut? I'm currently looking for some temporary helpers who can cut my files. If you are interested let me know, you would need to be able to cut in .wpc, .gsd or .ai. Unless of course you can convert a file to .knk.
Scan the image or take a good picture and send that to me.

This is a great oppurtunity to recieve free files from me and be the first to preview what's coming out. Let me know if you are willing to help by emailing me at carrie_creations@paperthreads.com please provide at least two .jpg's of cut files, include in the subject of the email "willing to cut".

Thank you in advance for helping me out!

Have a great weekend!

Once you purchase the class you then will have access to the Carrie's Classroom. You can then work at your own pace. There are easy to follow instructions, files to create the cover, inserts and all the die-cuts in .ai, .gsd, .knk and .wpc formats. There is an easy to follow color chart for your papers and each file is color coded so you can slip one paper in to cut all that you will need in that color, this makes the creation process move much quicker. I also have included a list of supplies and the size of paper needed to cut your die-cuts.

You will find suggestions for cutting the cover and inserts. Once everything is cut you then can follow page by page how to assemble. Binding is a breeze!     Meet Alex the Alligator!

He's fun! Expressive and my newest edition!

This little guy was totally inspired by Sue!  Who has been working hard creating the cutest alphabet book for her soon to be born grandson.  If you happen to be a member of my Carrie's Creations Yahoo group you can see some of her pages in the folder she is sharing with the group.  It's a must see!

So needless to say with Sue's great little book I will continue to create this adorable animals so you can build your own personal alphabet book.  What a way to introduce reading to a young child!

Maple Leaf and acorn-

My favorite season growing up as a child was summer, but that has changed.  I just love fall the cool evenings and warm sunny days.  The colors of the changing leaves, the interesting seeds and nuts.  One of our favorite activities is to walk through a thick wood and explore what has fallen to the ground.  I love to see the excitement on a child's face when they open a big milk weed pod and see the seeds flooding away.  You could say my inspiration to create this file came from some of those walks.

Here are some ideas for you to use with the die-cuts from this file.  Decorate a fall page by filling a page with numerous leaves or use a couple at the edge of a photo.  You could use them as the background for a fall title.

Try sending a fall card to cheer some one up. Window stickers they seem to be the rage any more, decorate your car or home with them.  How about placing them on a bulletin board.

They are easy to cut with directions to help you to ink the edges so you will have some realistic fall leaves.

Girly Girl titles-

Girls girls girls!

That's what my house if full of! With four girls I had to made some girly-girl titles!

  • CS00311         Unique

        •         fantastic
          •         Silly
          •         Dream
          •         Girly Girl
          •         daughter
          •         happy
          •         Creative
          •         Sunshine
          •         Super Star
          •
          •
          • Titles can be place on just about any girly girl page!  You can use several at a time like Unique daughter or Creative Sunshine or use them individually.  I have placed some fun little images in there too!  Like a couple stars, a dashed arrow, a cloud and sun.

CS00312

Girly Girl: Fabulus Title

Every thing is Fabulus in the eyes of a young girl!  It's not misspelled it's the hottest new verbiage from watching Sharpay! I WANT FABULUS and now you can have it.  Decorate any young girls pages with this current trendy title.

Here they are…

Two submissions from the contest posted on my blog… If you have time please vote.

You will be voting for the best overall use of my files, clarity of photos, use of colors and originality.
Submitted by Sue – The three die-cuts used in the layout are:Christmas Borders, Christmas Clips (2-ornament and present), Santa Clips (2-sleigh annd stocking)

Submitted by Jessica- The die-cuts used in this file are from the Color My World file

It was brougnt to my attention that the contest was a little confusing...I'm so sorry if I made it hard to understand. When I asked for a 12 X 12 album, I really meant to say layout…and three files ...I meant to say three die-cuts…But the ladies who submitted read through my mistakes and I think they are both awesome layouts! Just for submitting they both get my Haunted Mansion Album. The winner from the poll will receive all of my Halloween files, which is pretty cool! The polling will run until Friday evening, so please vote! Now to place the poll and I hope I do it correctly!

HaPpY ScRaPpInG!

note: I have had many many problems getting picutes up on my blog. They just don't want to go where I want them. Please be patient with me as I resolve the issues. I have taken so many to share. Hopefully I will get this figured out soon

We must vote...the stakes are high!

I suppose I am in shock over the "Good People" in America, as I drive through neighborhoods seeing signs in support of Obama.

My reason for supporting John McCain really has nothing to do with our economy, it has nothing to do with health care and nothing to do with the defense of our county. My vote comes with the deep conviction that if we don't defend the weakest in our society then it truly will fail. We have had enough warnings telling us to defend life. Once we understand this as a nation we will be richly blessed.

Senator Obama's character is important! It is the fact that we must rely on heavily! Yes there is a lot of controversy over his relationships and they are all very questionable. We do have a right to know of these relationships. But the one I'm most concerned with is his relationship with Planned Parenthood and the promise he has made over one fundamental issue. Which the news has not allowed you to see.

You can view his promise that he made to Planned Parenthood, the FIRST thing he will do as President of the United States.

You can view this here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0__ctD48nfQ&feature=related
OK I just looked at the link to double check and amazigly it has been taken down, if you click on it you will see...so try this one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0__ctD48nfQ&feature=related

What is the promise? He promises to take away ALL restrictions for abortion. No counseling would be offered to any women seeking an abortion, no parental permissions would be sought. And our tax dollars would pay for abortions over seas in other countries. One has to ask themselves WHY? This is a mult-trillion dollar industry so I suppose the stakes are high for those who profit.

Read what the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops say about FOCA , which is the bill that Obama has promised to make into law. http://www.usccb.org/prolife/issues/FOCA/FOCA_FactSheet08.pdf

NO matter what one believes we can not stand for this action. It is the greatest evil of our time and we must heed the warnings, which I leave below.

It is said that when the Holy Father leaves a country his last message is the most important! Both Popes, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict before departing America left the following message.

Pope John Paul II:
"America you are beautiful . . . and blessed . . . . The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless. If you want equal justice for all and true freedom and lasting peace, then America, defend life."

Pope Benedict:

"Use your freedoms wisely." as he closed out his first papal trip to the United States.

He repeated a core message of his six-day pilgrimage — that faith must play a role in public life, citing the need to oppose abortion.

The unwavering truth of the Roman Catholic message, he said, guarantees respect for the dignity of all, "including the most defenseless of all human beings, the unborn child in the mother's womb."

And most recently left by Archbishop Raymond L. Burke

ROME (CNS)—The Democratic Party in the United States "risks transforming itself definitively into a ‘party of death,’" said U.S. Archbishop Raymond L. Burke, prefect of the Vatican’s highest court.

We should not take these statements lightly they are fundamental truths that should be yelled from the roof tops!

I have placed a link on the left of my page above Senator McCain's support for you to join the many of us who will be praying for this country. I hope you will join us in this prayer to thank God for the blessings we have had here in America, that is our Freedom! We must not enter into the Culture of Death any longer. HOW WILL WE EVER EXPLAIN THIS TO OUR CHILDREN or for that matter, when we die HOW WILL WE EVER EXPLAIN OUR VOTE TO OUR JUDGE?

God bless us & God forgive us!

Store and Forum are good to GO!

Thanks to Michelle's persistence and hard work she was able to save the store and most of the forum. I am so proud of her! Most of all so thankful, here she was getting away and had to spend hours in her hotel room trying to find where the hacker(s) put the problem. She did discover it and was able to recover as much as she could. Let's here it for Michelle who really needed a break yet stepped up to the plate as a responsible owner of the best store/forum on the Internet!

I was hoping to get this news to you last night but had cheerleaders here making a break through banner for the football game today. It turned out really nice and I hope to get you some pictures.

Jennifer and I are now preparing for a Mother/Daughter luncheon with the wonderful host from Pure Fashion. We will be at a very exclusive restaurant which over looks the Arch. A professional will be teaching us etiquette, and if you ever ate with Jennifer you would understand why this event is very important!!! Scott has often said if she doesn't clean up her eating habits we will never marry her off. I'm very excited to go it's been a busy few weeks and I'm looking forward to the afternoon away with some wonderful like minded ladies and their daughters.

Hope to get some great pictures too!

Have a great weekend!

PLEASE DO NOT LOG INTO ANY PAPERTHREADS SITES

Please do not go to any of the links on my blog that would lead you to the Paperthreads store, forum or gallery.

That means any of the links on the left under "Important Links". You may risk getting a trojan or a virus.

The designers at Paperthreads will let you know through the blogs when the site is safe to access.

Thank you for understanding!

Carrie

The Paperthreads store and forum

If you happened to log into the Paperthreads store or the forum last night or this morning, you may have noticed that they are not there! That’s because someone has hacked the server. Michelle is aware of the problem and has made it know to the designers that getting them back is going to take some time, like 48 hours or so, not days. She is being very careful to save what can be saved and this is why it will take some time. We thank you for your understanding and hope to have see the forum and store back soon.

In the mean time let's get a contest going!!!

The first three submissions will receive my Haunted Mansion Album. The winner of the layout will receive ALL of my Halloween files that I have created so far.

So here are the details:

Create a 12 X 12 album using three of my files. You get to have the choice of what files you want to use and how you want to use them. You can use any theme that you would like.

Once I receive the files I will place them on my blog for you to see, I will then place a poll on my blog for viewers to vote for the best layout created. You will have until midnight Friday, October 24th to submit your layouts. Over the weekend I will have time to get them on my blog. On Monday, October 27th I will then place a poll for you to vote.

When voting I would like you to vote according to the best overall use of my files. Clarity of photos, use of colors and origanility. This layout must be new, you can not use a layout that you have posted in the Paperthreads gallery or any other online gallery before.

If for some reason we have a tie, I will then have my family and other designers help in judging. So that we will have a fair and balanced vote!

I hope to see your creations!

oh no I forgot my witchy poo who had a boo boo...

My Witchy Poo who had a Boo Boo- i totally forgot to put her up yesterday!

As i was thinking about Halloween and trick or treating with all the decorations out there i remembered when Katie, Jason and Brian where young. Our old neighborhood was wonderful everyone knew each other. It was a small community where almost everyone attended the same Parish. Well there was one house that we really enjoyed because they always out did themselves decorating. Our favorite decoration was the witch who had slammed into the tree! So i decided this would make a wonderful die-cut for our memories!

When I finished with her design called Katie down and showed her. The first thing she said was remember mom the house we use to go to with all the decorations! In our old neighborhood, gosh those days where so much fun! I smiled, knowing I accomplished my goal! To help her remember the special times we had. It is my hopes that you too will find a spark of memories with my files that is what I set out to acheive!

HaPpY ScRaPpiNg!

Carrie

BTW- I'm having to labor when signing off my I belive I over worked my shift+P, IT WON'T WORK! So I find that the only way now to do it is to hit my capital P...i guess i should just copy and paste but that seems like I'm not putting all of me into it! OK...have a great weekend everyone!

Guess who's Birthday it is?

Do you know who was born this day?  October 3th?  Let me give you a hint she is the one who brought us all together!  The reason why you are here at my web page.   Maybe you know her, most of you do!

Another hint:  She started this whole thing from sharing a simple idea to help others learn to cut and design with their machines.  Can you guess?  It's Michelle Hessler, owner and designer of Paperthreads!

Yep, that's right it's her birthday and we are going to CeLeBrAtE this weekend!

With lots of sales! Check them out almost everyone is having a sale!

You can check which day and how much savings you can get by clicking the link above.

All sales end at 11:59 PM EST on the last posted date!

All my files will be 50 % off from Friday through Sunday.

Wondering if I have any new files?  Well thank goodness I got them in today and they were loaded to the store so you can enjoy them at a deep discount.  I was able to get eight finished and ready for the store.  I hope you like them!

Haunted Mansion Album

 CS00299

You will have so much fun filling the pages of this album!  It can be  customized to fit your needs!

Any of the NEW files below can be used in the album...

CS00298 CS00302

CS00300 CS00301

CS00304  CS00306

CS00303

And of course if you have some of my last year files you can add any of the die-cuts or titles too!

CS00086    CS00093

Now where can you all this to create your very own album?  And it's all on 50 % off this weekend

happenings....

many new things are going on here... with the school year in full swing the girls have had many new oppurtunities that they have sought out... and our schedule is getting full!!!

Jennifer and Kristen are now cheerleaders for the 7th and 8th grade football teams...we have practices once maybe twice a week with each saturday being the game day.

Julie joined Brownies and is so excited that mom will be attending some of the functions like camping. It will be our special time together she says.

The girls have also enrolled in our PSR program where they will learn more about our Catholic Faith. With Jennifer receiving the sacrament of Confirmation in May!

Our biggest and most exciting news!

Jennifer applied for and was accepted into the 2008-2009 Pure Fashion Show.

Yesterday we attended her first gathering where we heard from Leah Darrow a contestant from the third episode of America's Top Model. It was an ispiring meeting where I have to admit they made more cry more then once. And I just thought it would be an informative meeting. It truley is a movement of the spirit.

The girls were seperated into teams where they where able to meet the top models in a more personal matter. The mother's heard from the volunteers and a mother who witnessed the transformation of her own daughter who attended last year. More tears flowed!

When we were reunited they had a fashion show for us! The fashions... designs the girls made using a roll of toilet paper. It was so adorable and you could already see how the girls where already confortable with in there team.

From the meeting Jennifer and I met up with the rest of the family at our old parish. It was like a family reunion! Septemberfest where the kids ran around with friends and cousins. And the fest ended with a wonderful fireworks display.

Yes we do have a full schedule this year! But it's all good things and I'll have lots of pictures to share...that is if I can remember to bring my camera!

Want to be a part of my team?

Read my previous post...

Have a blessed Sunday!

You do not need to use the acorn/maple leaf files, I want to see what you can do with any of my files using the sketch. Please put in the subject line "sketch layout" when making the request. You will then have one week to create a layout following the sketch and to have a jpg sent back to me.
  3. if you love creating cards or home decor projects please email me by requesting a file or files that you will use to create one of the projects. You will then have one week to get a jpg of your design back to me. Please put in the subject line of the email "cards/projects".

What you need to understand:

Each CDT member will be expected to sign an exclusive contract with Carrie's Creations. The contract will expire in six months. I expect submissions sent to me every other week, no exceptions! If you don't feel like you can keep up then I wouldn't apply for this position. You can always send me your creative ideas to receive free files. :0

The call for new CDT members will be open from now until October 15th.

The benefits of joing a CDT are wonderful! You will get free files. You will find that you are using your cutting machine instead of just collecting files :0 You will see more pages scrapped! Whoo whoo...now isn't that the reason we all began?
