Together

The TOGETHER file is now in the store...thank you!

Scrapbooking is such a unique form of art, craft or hobby. I like to see it as a new form of art, it brings out the creativity in all of us. Most of all it helps us to build relationships, it brings us together and within those relationships some times we are inspired!

Just think, scrapbooking brings us out of our homes to shop, share and invite others to see our work. How many times do you think I need stop and take a picture of that special moment? That moment becomes a treasure whether it's with a friend who just visited or watching your children play, maybe it's going out to a special place with family or taking a class with a celebrity. We want to remember the moments we spent together.

When Elsie Flannigan came to visit our local scrapbook store I was so excited, I signed up for my first class! I wanted to ask her so many questions and learn from such an artistic girl! Of course I didn't get to ask as much as I wanted, just being next to her was an inspiration for me!

I knew deep down inside I had much to share, like she does and the excitement of that visit inspired me to keep finding my place to share.

That was a special " together " moment that I will always treasure one of my inspiration moments! And to inspire you!!! I'm giving away my "together" file today..... so for the next twenty four hours you can download the file for free here.

Hope you will enjoy!

Thank you Nikki for sharing your Splish Splash layout with your adorable boys!

It turned out so cute and what a memory preserved for them!

I'd like to see some more layouts so ladies I'm offering the cute little floral beach bag-album one more time! Send me a picture of your scanned layout from using one of my files and I will send you the file for free.

To make this easier for you if you just scan in each side of your layout I put it together for you! Have a great weekend!

Hi Carrie--Here is a layout I just finished using the Splish Splash file from
yesterday and the live, love, laugh file from the Paperthreads store.
I love both files!!! They cut great, even the thin lines in the live, love, laugh!
I do 12x12 layouts, but cannot scan the full layout at the same time, so here is two files.
Thanks for making such great files!!Nikki

Thanks for stopping in! I hope you are taking advantage of the sales at Paperthreads.

I don't have a free file for you today.... but here's the deal...... I'd like to see what you have done with any of my files. So if you've been a busy bee and have used one of my files in your layout email me a picture, I'll post it here and the first one to do so will receive my newest creation!

It's an adorable little bag mini album!

Ok! I almost forgot! I'm laying in bed getting my children to sleep after giving them a long bath, where they soaked me with all the splish splash of the water. I decided I had enough of the day changed into my pj's and snuggled up with them. When all of the sudden I realized, I had made a promise to give you a free file today. So here it is! I hope you will enjoy the title splish splash, use it as a frame around your favorite picture. It can be used for several themes: bathtime, at the beach, swimming in a pool or a big splash from one of your favorite amusement parks! And if you have any more ideas, post them here.

Have a good night!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!

I don't know about you but around here we have had non-stop fireworks every evening since the weekend. The excitement is mounting..... I just love the fourth of July, celebrating with friends and family as we gather at our house to barbeque, play games then jump in our cars to head to the nearest fireworks display at the park. Then I get all chocked up thinking how blessed we are to have such freedom. And it wouldn't be the fourth around here if we didn't head down to fair St. Louis on one of the evenings to watch the greatest fireworks displays in the world. I hardly get to see them since I'm running around trying to catch that perfect picture to remember the excitement of my children's faces. I hope you have your camera charged and ready for all the excitement!

*****************************************

There's plenty of excitement being planned at the Paperthreads store and forum starting the fourth of July, you won't believe the sales! And we are giving away awesome files as presents to celebrate Christmas in July. The Christmas trivia game will be running all month with a new twist so be ready for my post! And I hope you were able to sign up for the B-I-N-G-O, cause there are mega gifts there.

Well I missed out on changing the fee file yesterday... I'll get to it this evening. I've been fighting a horrible cold/flu all week! But I was able to get some new files completed and they should be offered in the store sometime soon. But you can have a sneek-peek of them here and sometime in the month of July they will be offered as presents for you to win, from one of the exciting games going on at Paperthreads. Check out the post below to access the games, I think you have one more day to sign up for B-I-N-G-O. And all month long I will be hosting the Christmas trivia so get ready July 1st.

Christmas in JULY

Have you heard? What's going on in the forum...... Chris has challenged her co-designers to offer files for the Christmas B-I-N-G-O starting in just a couple of days. Of course being a scrap booker I had to take her up on it! Now I have to decide what files to offer as "presents" for the winners. What do you think? It's got to be a good file since Chris has some terrific files to offer.
Can you help? Tell me what files would make a good gift?

I hope you will join in on the fun... and it looks like Barb's took up the challenge too, so get in on some gift giving from Paperthreads all you have to do is play!
Here's a link to join

B-I-N-G-O

And if that isn't enough..... starting July 1st I will be hosting the Christmas in July Trivia game, that will run throughout the month with many more presents to give away. Sometime that day I will post the first Christmas trivia question who ever gets back to me first with the correct answer will win the first present "A partridge in a pair tree". This is a beautiful designed by Shirley Clark. You can read view the first Christmas gift by clicking on the link.

CHRISTMAS
TRIVIA

Lots of Christmas cheer going on all month!

HO-Ho-HO!

Carrie

I wanted to share with you the cover of my families Florida Vacation Album. I used the beach front file with colored transparency to create this look
If you noticed I didn't use the whole scene that you get in thefile. This is because my cover wasn't big enough. I just moved the image across the art board and cut the area that I needed. Here is a link to that file in the store.
