Last night my girls had assignments on remembering 911 after they were through we talked about them remembering... Julie and Kristen had an idea they wanted to make posters for the neighborhood. I told them that's a little to much because we needed to get to bed... so I promised if they wanted I would post their posters on my blog.... here they are...

Your daughters share your artistic talents--give them my compliments please.
My first child was born 6 days before 9/11, I'll never forget how I felt sitting there, him asleep in my arms, watching the horrific footage on the news. I just sat, numb and worried about what kind of world I had just brought a sweet little child into and what all the little children whose parents worked in the towers would do that night with no one to tuck them into bed. My heart still breaks if I think too hard.

I can't imagine having a new born at that time..I would have felt the same way!!! But I bet your baby brought you so much HOPE!! They seem to do that!!! Thank goodness for little babies...
Yes what a tragedy for the families!! I remember a month of so later logging on to the internet and trying to view pictures of those who died...it was overwhelming...you just couldn't see everyone because so many had died... so sad!
I just pray that we never have to go through another terrorist attack again...
